Chapter 33

Since Raphael had never taught anyone how to do homework, nor had he ever received one-on-one tutoring himself, he could only resort to using the same methods that schoolteachers employed during lessons. However, as he explained the material, Catherine quickly began to look drowsy. Upon seeing this, Raphael stopped right away. He wasn't upset. Instead, he immediately realized that he had likely explained in a much too formal way and failed to capture the interest of a child. Raphael didn't know exactly how to make the subjects more engaging for her, so he pulled out his phone and searched for ideas. Luckily, the methods he found online proved somewhat effective. Catherine seemed to be able to understand and retain some of the knowledge taught. Later that evening, Raphael needed to go out for work again. After all, it was Baxter who had sponsored his university education. So, Raphael felt the need to work hard to earn some money and eventually make a name for himself in the field.
