“So what now?” I instantly tensed up, voice filled with anxiety. “Doctor, is there anything else we can do?” With a serious look, the doctor replied, “Our suggestion is to consult top-tier specialists and hospitals focused on cardiology. His condition is critical — the sooner he gets treated, the better.” The second I stepped out of the doctor’s office, I felt like my soul had left my body. I slumped onto the bench in the hallway, totally dazed. Even after living through all this again, I still can’t save him? Where do I even start looking for these top hospitals?
