Chapter 10 A Familiar Feeling

Back in her room, Lina took out her laptop and sat down in front of the small table. Because the room had no desk, she sat directly on the floor, placed the documents on the side of the computer and started tapping her fingers on the keyboard. Time passed by minute by minute. Inside the study, perhaps because sleeping on his back was uncomfortable, Angus woke up with a frown, straightening his body as the blanket slipped off his back. Looking at the pink blanket, Angus' brow furrowed slightly, had she been here? When his eyes fell on the table, his face turned ugly and he stood up, striding towards the door. "Robert!" Angus shouted angrily. Hearing Angus's voice, Robert immediately ran up from downstairs, "Sir, what happened?" "Where's the woman?" Angus asked with his voice full of anger. Robert didn't know why he was so angry all of a sudden. He had just asked his wife to go in and deliver the milk, why was Sir so angry? "Madam did not go out today. She should be in her room." Robert answered. Angus at this point the forehead veins had bulged up, ready to kick the door in, but found that the door opened with a push of the hand. At this moment Lina was sitting with her back to him at a small table in front of the window with papers on the side. Angus' anger slowly extinguished at the sight of this image, and he took a step inside, wondering what the hell this woman was up to. Almost behind Lina, Angus then looked at what she was doing. She had a laptop in front of her, and her hand was holding a pen as she wrote something on paper, then cross-referenced the word marks on the document, smoothly holding the pen in her teeth as her fingertips tapped on the keyboard. Lina was concentrating on translating the content on the document. Occasionally there were a few business terms that she was not able to identify, so in order to make the translation over without mistakes, and the words that she was not sure of, and could not scribble on the document, she first copied them down in a book, and then searched them with her phone before finally entering the entire translated paragraph into the document. Angus looked at the contents of the computer in surprise, he had found for two days but still didn't find a translator who would know Caro language, but this document was very important and confidential, which just can not be public to distrusted people , so he spent the night yesterday in the study to translate. He had only translated about one-fifth of the entire document all night, but at the moment Lina was close to completing the entire translation. "You know the language of Caro?" Angus asked as he walked up behind her and spoke. A sudden voice from behind, Lina was startled, too sudden turn of the head, Lina's neck came a pain. "Oh!" She rubbed her neck with her hand immediately in pain, "Angus?" "Are you all right?" Angus looked at her in pain and couldn't help but feel some remorse. "Just a moment, the translation will be finished soon." Lina finished rubbing her neck and went back to continue the unfinished translation. Angus just stood quietly behind her, watching her seriously. Finally, an hour later, Lina clicked the "Save" button with satisfaction and stretched. "OK, it's done." Lina put the paperwork in order and stood up from the floor, ready to hand it to Angus. But when she stood up, her feet lost their intuition because she had been sitting on the ground for too long, and she fell straight to the ground to one side. "Ah!" Lina screamed and immediately shielded her stomach. Just when she thought her head was going to fall to the floor, a wide-body suddenly shielded her in its arms. As Angus hugged Lina, that crazy night suddenly came to mind. This feeling was so familiar like that night, which was something that he didn't feel when Annie was snuggled in his arms. "Are you okay?" Angus asked carefully. Lina was also taken aback by the hug and immediately broke away from his arms, making sure there was no uncomfortable feeling coming from her stomach before she sighed in relief, "I'm fine, thanks." "Give me your email and I'll send you the translated document." Lina changed the subject and spoke. Angus got up from the floor, picked up the pen on the small table, and wrote his email address in the book. "You can read Caro's language?" Angus asked in curiosity. Lina looked up with a slight smile, "I just happened to learn." Then logged her email in and sent the file according to the email on the book. "Thanks." Angus said sincerely. This was the first time he had ever been curious about Lina. It wasn't until Angus left the house that Lina relaxed. Her heart pounded when she thought of that embrace just now, why was it so familiar? But she knew that it couldn't be him at all that night. Gathering herself, Lina once again searched for the suitable job. The two-day resume drop showed her that it would be difficult to get into the company with her limited education, so she had to change direction and look for other jobs. She had to find a job before her belly got bigger and she was really short of money right now. Finally, with her efforts, she found a cafe where she worked as a waitress. Although the work would be hard, the salary satisfied her. "Ma'am, why don't you go to work at Mr.'s company?" Robert looked at Lina, who had been running around for the past few days, with some heartache. "Robert, you know, I don't want to rely on him, and, I have submitted my resume, unfortunately, there is no way for me to get a job in the company with my abilities." Lina had only found out that Angus was the big boss of WT Group that day when she was translating documents for him. "Have you spoken to the gentleman?" Robert wondered, obviously it was just a word from sir about the matter, and, as Angus's wife, that Lina was looking around for a job was something that no one would even believe . And, it's going to be the biggest joke of the century. Lina shook her head, "Robert, I wish you wouldn't tell him, I have my own considerations." Robert looked at Lina's determined look and had to nod helplessly. WT Group "Angus, my brother told me that there is a cafe on Fifth Street that has good coffee, let's go and have a drink together later, okay?" Annie put the paper in front of Angus, walked behind him, leaned her head on his shoulder and opened her mouth to ask. Angus, who was working, frowned unhappily, but agreed, "Okay." "Then remember to pick me up when you're done." After saying that, Annie gave him a kiss on the cheek and walked towards the door. After Annie left, Angus leaned back in his chair with some annoyance and closed his eyes. Damn, Annie's behavior now was making him feel more and more uncomfortable. But when he thought of Annie giving the most precious thing a girl can give for him, he felt some guilt. Such complex emotions made him extraordinarily uncomfortable. The successful partnership with Caro's Myer Company had given her an extra sense of complexity about Lina. It was really thanks to her precise translation that the contract was successful this time. When he thought of Robert saying that she went outside every day, his mood was a bit bad. Didn't she know she was pregnant. Thinking that she still went outside every day, it seemed to be time to find time to talk to her. He wanted to know exactly what it was that she was marrying him to accomplish.
