Chapter 14 Does he treat you good?

Since Lina worked as a translator, her office was next door to Angus', making it easy for Angus to find her whenever he wanted. All morning, Lina worked hard, she had to keep Angus happy with her work because the job would give her a rare opportunity to make money. At noon, Angus looked at the time, picked up the documents that had just been faxed from Myer Company, and got up to walk toward Lina's office. As he was about to walk in, Lina's voice came from inside. "I'll get him to agree to give you a chance to work together as soon as possible, don't call me." Angus was standing in the doorway, his blue eyes flashing with anger. The damn woman married him to help Celta's company! Lina signed a partnership agreement with him also because she knew he didn't like her and he wouldn't have agreed to the marriage if he hadn't done so. He was actually fooled by this hypocritical woman. Back in his office, he handed the papers to Alan to take to Lina, whom he didn't want to see at all right now. At the end of the day, Lina did not go back to Angus' old castle, but went to visit Dill. She was so busy with work these days that she didn't even visit Dill. Back at Celta's castle, with no Dill in the house and the phone turned off, she found Celta with some urgency. "Where's my dad?" Lina asked anxiously. "Lina, you're really uneducated, who are you talking to? Celta is your mother." It was Brugger who spoke. "I wasn't talking to you, and it doesn't seem to matter to you whether I'm educated or not, it's enough that your daughter is educated." "Well honey, it's okay, maybe Lina will bring us good news." Celta smiled and said, "Is that right Lina? Has Angus agreed to work with our company?" "Not yet, I will take care of this matter, where is my father?" Dill's body had not fully recovered, but she couldn't find him, Lina was really anxious. Celta shrugged, "Well, he's at Dae Kim Hospital." Hearing these words, Lina did not stop for a moment and immediately ran towards the outside. When she hurried to the hospital and saw Dill lying in a hospital bed, she could no longer control the tears that flowed down. "Lina?" A familiar voice came. Lina immediately wiped away her own tears and looked back to see a familiar face, "Hansen!" Hansen was the son of Mrs. Reo, a neighbor in Porto, who has taken care of her since she was a child, so seeing Hansen was like seeing her big brother. When she was picked up by Celta before, Hansen happened to be out of the country to study. "Yes, it's me, don't worry, Uncle was just irritated, he's fine now." Hansen, who was wearing doctor's overalls, looked at the tears on her face and said comfortingly. Lina then relaxed, she was really too afraid that something bad happened to Dill. "Why are you here?" Lina asked with some confusion. "My teacher recommended that I come here to study." Hansen said with a smile, "I came back and found you missing, couldn't find you anywhere, and didn't expect to run into Uncle Dill just in time to be brought to the hospital this morning." "I'm sorry, I came back a little too much and forgot to tell you after the contact information was changed." Lina said apologetically. "Lina, did something happen to you?" Looking at the haggard Lina, Hansen asked worriedly. Lina shook her head, "Nothing's wrong, I'm fine." "You can deceive others, but can you deceive me? You're my little sister, but I, as a brother, don't even know what happened to you!" Hansen's tone was a little serious; he hated her for being so strong. Perhaps because it was too depressing, Hansen's concerned and anxious look made Lina cry out of control any longer. "Hansen ..." She leaned on Hansen's shoulder and let out a sob. These things were too depressing for her, her mother's calculations, Nicole's death, her father's bad health conditions, and her pregnancy, all these things, really made her about to be unable. Listening to Lina tell what happened during this time, Hansen's regret was about to go crazy. "I'm sorry, if I hadn't gone into further education, I wouldn't have left you alone with all this." Hansen said heartily. Lina shook her head and smiled, "It's not your fault, Hansen, it's all in the past, I'm doing fine now." "Does he treat you good?" Hansen asked with some hesitation. "Eh, it's not bad, when I help dad get his shares back, I'll get a divorce and start a new life with the baby." Thinking of the near future, Lina's tone changed to a lighter one. "Remember to look for me if there is anything, otherwise I will be angry if you have to bear everything by yourself." Hansen said seriously. Lina nodded, of course she knew Hansen was worried about her. For all the years she had lived in Porto, Aunt Reo and Hansen had always taken care of her. She had owed them for too much that she couldn't pay them back, thus she could not continue to add to his troubles.. "Uncle has been all right, here I will take care of it. It's being so late, I will send you back. You are still pregnant with the baby. It is not safe to be alone." Hansen opened his mouth and said gently. Lina wanted to say something else, but she knew so well about Hansen's character, so she had to nod. After saying goodbye to Dill, Lina got into Hansen's car. An hour later, Hansen's car pulled up at the entrance of the old castle. "Thank you, Hansen, go home early and get some rest." Lina said gratefully. "Remember to contact me if something happens." Hansen finished and started the car to leave. Angus was now exercising in the gym, which has floor-to-ceiling windows just overlooking the gates of the old castle. The sight of Lina getting out of the strange man's car and waving goodbye affectionately made Angus even angrier. Could it be that the child in her belly is this man's? The other day it was Lauren, today it's this strange man. She's really busy! Lina entered and went to her room to change into clean clothes and came downstairs, "Robert, where's Angus?" "Sir is in the gym." Robert replied. Lina went to the kitchen, found the Markisa and lemon in the refrigerator, and then started to work on it. A few moments later she carried the freshly made fruit tea and headed towards the gym. "Angus, I've got a cup of fruit tea for you." Lina pushed the door open and walked in. Hearing her voice, Angus did not speak but continued doing push-ups. Lina walked up to him and stopped, "Take a break." Angus's movements paused for a moment, then stood up and leaned against a piece of equipment, wiping the sweat from his body. This scene caused Lina's cheeks to redden instantly. Angus's only wore a pair of sports shorts on his body, and his hair had been wet with sweat, down the handsome cheeks, low on the chest, and then all the way down, the abs... Lina didn't dare to look down any further, her cheeks already flushed. There was really no way to be calm about this man's figure. "Seen enough?" Angus asked teasingly, raising an eyebrow. Looking back, Lina smiled a little awkwardly, "Sorry, that, I made you a fruit tea, I heard Robert say you like lemonade." "What happened? Just to the point!" Angus didn't bother to take the cup from her hand. Not expecting Angus to ask so directly, Lina bit her lip, "I want to ask you, Mr. Angus, would you please give Ollie's company a chance to cooperate." "That's what you want to accomplish, is it? You're willing to marry me even if I can't have a conjugal life in order to get me to give Ollie's company a chance to cooperate? And then divorce me after I agree to give you the opportunity to cooperate, and you take the money to the father of the child?" Angus said indifferently, not hiding his disgust for Lina at all. "Thing's not like that ..." Lina tried to explain, but was cut off by Angus. "Shut up and get out." Angus said impatiently to Lina, and his tone was so icy cold that he looked like a lion about to explode.
