The assistant had always had a pretty good impression of Ava Nelson. They got along well earlier, and after being stuck with Rachel Collins for so long, she’d been feeling super stifled. She did want to step out and breathe a little. So she said, “Just want to talk for a bit outside.”
Rachel shot her a sharp look, totally suspicious and full of warning.
