The dishes were served. They were exquisitely arranged, and each plate was a work of art.
But Miranda had no appetite. She would've much preferred a bowl of pasta from some roadside shop costing just a few bucks. She preferred something hearty and filling.
"There was a time I loved you so much, I thought I could endure any hardship. But now that I don't love you anymore, I want nothing at all."
