Chapter 142
I never saw Adrian again during my stay in the hospital. Even though I missed him, it was better not having him around telling me that he wanted me while he does the opposite. I’ve come along way and I hoped to keep it that way.
Now that I was going home, I had already packed my stuff, ready to ditch the dull boring room. I hated the place yet I had to stay in order to heal properly. Every now and again, I’d sneak in to Roman’s room to chat and play a bit.
I felt that I owed him for these past days that I’ve missed reading him bed time stories. We laughed, we cried. we even made fun of our time with the kidnaper and I gave him a few lessons on how to protect himself once he faced the same problem in the future.
