Chapter 158
As my car cascaded through the busy streets, I kept on going around with nowhere in particular to go to. It’s been ten long years and still my parents’ death got me shaken. My phone rang and when I saw that it was Adrian, I switched it off. I didn’t want to talk to anyone.
Finally, I found myself at Tiffany’s apartment. Griping the steering wheel, I wiped my tears as I scanned around, wondering if I should go in. It’s not fair for Tiffany that every time I burden her with my problems but she was the only person I knew would make me feel better.
I wish that I could go to Adrian but right now, I didn’t want to face him.
Tiff never judged me or saw any fault in me.
“No …I better go back ….” I mumbled as I turned on the engine, the car roared to life and I was about to exit the drive way when Tiffany suddenly appeared, looking stunned at my car.
“Wait…” she shouted as she waved her arms at me “where are you going?”
