Chapter 167
It’s been a week already and it felt like a year. I was fucking tired of waiting. Each and every passing second, I look at my phone expecting to see that private detective’s number but there was nothing from him, not even a text. I was frustrated, every little thing annoyed me because I was anxious yet I couldn’t call him.
I turned on the TV in an attempt to get anything related t to my parent’s case but there was nothing. The news had expired, people had moved on to other news and they were not interested in follow ups unless the police gives them something juicy.
I was furious, I felt fire coming from my nose as I growled and turned off the TV. I stood up, clutched my face and started pacing the room. May be, something will come up somewhere. I had no idea how long I have been pacing when I came to a halt in front of a certain figure.
