Time passed swiftly as Mary looked on from a distance in silence as she watched people pass by, some wore a gloomy face, and some wore a sad face while some wore a face of indifference. It was rare to see someone who truly cared as people trooped in, it was the memorial service of Ben’s mother. Mary felt a tinge of guilt. Wait, did she say guilt? The more she got into it the more she lost her conscience. That was what she was apprehensive about; what was this going to be like from now? Mary was never one to be religious but she saw herself being entirely judged for this. She looked watching Ben with a gloomy face and his head down.
