Hendrick fixed his gaze on Chantelle. He insisted, "It was all your fault. Savannah wouldn't have left me if not for you." His confidence was greeted by her laughter. While laughing, she teared up. All her emotions morphed into resentment. Glaring at him, she barked, "It was not my fault. It was yours! Hendrick, I'm sure you knew it too. Savannah wouldn't have left you if she still had feelings for you. You were finding an excuse for yourself because you refused to admit that you lost her! "Hendrick, you were the one who drove her away, not me! If she loved you, she wouldn't have left. She probably had been thinking about it a while ago. "I pity you. Look at you, still waiting for Savannah to beg for your attention. Things got out of hand, and you panicked when she really divorced you and disappeared for good. "Hendrick, you drove her away!" Chantelle blurted out her innermost thoughts without inhibition. He looked at her coldly, as though he was staring at some worthless trash.
