Liv's POV
I knew they wouldn’t let me dodge their questions much longer, and when Lara leaned forward, her sharp brown eyes boring into mine, I sighed.
“Alright,” I said, my voice shaky but steady enough. “You want to know what happened? Fine.”
“Where do I even start?” I muttered, running a hand through my hair.
“The beginning is usually a good place,” Lara said dryly.
I rolled my eyes but began recounting everything.
Rose and Vio exchanged concerned glances, while Lara settled deeper into her chair, her expression expectant.
I took a deep breath and began. “I walked in on them, Vivienne and Aaron. In our hotel room. Having sex.”

“They couldn’t even wait,” I continued, bitterness thick in my voice. “Not for the wedding to happen, not for the party to end. No, they just went ahead and had the time of their lives, as if the entire evening wasn’t supposed to be about us.”
