I woke up feeling very excited. Today was the day of the beach trip. I walked to my bedroom window and looked outside, the sun was shining, the birds were singing and everything was perfect. My phone buzzed and looking at it, I saw some text messages from Callie, who was super happy about going on the trip. Originally it was just supposed to be me, Kevin, Callie and Melissa but somewhere along the line the invitation was extended to Demetri and Trey.
