Chapter Seven- We Meet Again

Mia lingered around the graveyard for an hour or so. She cherished the moments that she spent with her uncle and although he couldn’t answer her back, Mia felt as if they were bonding. She made sure to bring him up to date on any thing he had missed during the three years away from one another. She even told him about the current events of the world. He had always been fascinated in everything going on around the world. She hoped that maybe he found peace in hearing what had happened over the years. After talking to a stone and some packed soil for over half an hour, Mia decided to venture over to the other graves. Most of them had been abandoned with weeds growing over and headstones wonky. The sight upset her because she always thought about the people who had died. Did they have no loved ones to look after and care for them?
