When Sebastian walked back in, there was still a faint smile tugging at the corners of his mouth.
Victor and Julian exchanged a glance the second they saw that lovestruck expression on his face.
"Wow," Victor leaned lazily against the headboard, a mischievous look in his eyes. "Is that the look of a man on the verge of a happy ending?"
Judging from Sebastian's barely contained grin, things had clearly gone pretty well.
Julian just gave him a silent, knowing smile.
Facing their teasing stares, Sebastian chuckled. "Not amazing, but not terrible either."
"Tch," Victor clicked his tongue. "Seb, seriously. At the snail pace you're going, she's gonna vanish before you even notice."
"Can't you amp things up a bit? Be a little more aggressive or something?"
Victor was honestly starting to doubt him. With Sebastian moving that slowly, God knows when he'd finally win over Alexandra.
He glanced over at Julian, raising a brow. "Maybe take a page out of Julian's playbook?"
