I did not know his promise to stay away from me was not after I left his house but from the very next day. It has been ten days since the incident happened and I did not see him from then. We were literally two people living under the same roof but actually only one because when I stayed in the house, he wasn't present. I did not know where he lodged for there had been several nights passed since then. When I call him, he doesn't pick my calls. Getting frustrated one day I called him through my friend's phone. He picked and when I wanted to speak to him he simply avoided me stating he was busy.

With the days passing I am getting frustrated living in this house alone. I had no idea when he came home and left. It felt like a burden on me....like I was depriving him of his own place.

I find something moving on my cheek. Getting disturbed I stir and try to get rid of the obstruction. My hand comes in contact with another hand bigger and rough unlike my soft and small ones. Was this a play of some kind of evil spirit? I woke from sleep with a jerk like a zombie and look around with frightened eyes. In front of me was Allesandro gazing down at me curious in a controlled simper.

"What was that Edith, evil spirit?" I narrow my eyes at him acting innocence. "What evil spirit?"  He looks sideways towards the wall lands to low chuckles and then looks back at me with a stoical countenance. "I thought you were having a dream about some evil spirit." I pick my teddy from besides feeling unsecured and hold it to my chest . His eyes pass from the teddy in my hands to my face.  Smiling imperceptible he rubs the skin on his forehead above his eyebrow. "Edith?"

My vision was directed to the fascinating girl who was dancing a few feet away on the stage with a guy. The man was grinding his hips to her but she was too innocent to understand his lecherous tactics. My blood was burning like fire as I emptied another glass of whiskey.
