After hanging up, Bellamy didn't start the car right away. Instead, she called Fraser.
"Mind if I borrow a couple of your bodyguards?"
On the other end, Fraser chuckled softly. "Bellamy, do you always ask questions you already know the answer to?"
A smirk curled on her lips. "Mmm... just send me two. I'll text you the address."
Fraser simply responded with a light "Mm," not pressing her about what she needed them for.
By the time Bellamy pulled into the parking lot of Central Hospital, she gave a dry smile.
Never thought she'd experience hospital-hopping in a single day.
Following the room number Joseph had given, she headed straight to the fourth floor and stopped in front of a room at the end of the hallway.
She knocked and walked in. The air inside was heavy with the sterile scent of antiseptic mixed with something medicinal. Joseph was propped up in bed, and Henry sat quietly by his side.
