Chapter 26
In the pitch-black darkness, Lynette sat on the apartment couch with a pile of photos spread before her. They were all recent pictures of Jasmine.
She picked up one of them, her fingertips gently caressing Jasmine's face with a sinister smile.
She hissed, "Jasmine, did you think that it would be over after all these years? Especially after you framed me and sent me to prison?"
After standing up, she walked to the bathroom, retrieving a sealed glass bottle containing concentrated sulfuric acid from the cabinet. Then, she carefully dripped a drop of acid onto the photo.
Watching Jasmine's face on the picture corrode and darken as it spread, Lynette burst into maniacal laughter. "This time, I'll make you wish you were dead."
