Chapter 11
Jared thought he'd just heard the biggest joke of the century.
His eyes immediately turned dim. "Divorce? Since when have I ever been involved in a divorce case?"
The other party was just about to speak when Jared interrupted him coldly.
"How much did Tamara pay you to spout nonsense to me? How much did she pay you to lie to me? Tell me! I'll pay you double the price!"
Then, Jared ended the call and blocked the number of the person who actually dared to lie to him.
He drummed his fingers lightly against the table top.
He couldn't deny that he panicked slightly back when he first saw the divorce certificate on the table. He had even been worried and anxious that Tamara was indeed planning to divorce him.
However, after receiving this call, Jared felt a lot more at ease, and he also stopped worrying about the divorce. After all, he'd been with Tamara for so many years, and he knew her the best.
