"Alright, toss him out now. I don't want to see him anymore."
This time, Ethan didn't even dare throw out a parting threat. He stumbled away as fast as his legs would carry him.
I, however, had no intention of letting him off so easily. My people were already waiting by the roadside. The moment he darted into a back alley, a sack went over his head, and he was shoved into a van.
He was sent to Nythora.
"This guy lives to scam people. I'm sending him to you so he can really shine. No need to thank me—just call me a good Samaritan."
With Sabrina in prison, no one noticed his disappearance. The company, now fully aware of his true nature, had already been looking for an excuse to fire him. His recent absences sealed the deal.
One unilateral termination letter was served—no severance pay, no compensation. By the time new evidence surfaced and the police went looking for Ethan, he was long gone.
