The entire house was plunged into chaos moments later. The mercenaries barely broke a sweat as they beat Barry's hired men till they were black and blue. The lackeys were covered in bruises and wounds as they lay on the ground and let out pathetic cries of pain. Gone was the haughty arrogance they carried themselves with when they were bullying my family. Liam was covering his face as he cowered on the ground. He begged, "I'm so sorry, Duncan! I admit that I was wrong! But I only did what Barry told me to. You're pinning the blame on the wrong guy!" I smiled lightly before grinding my foot into his face. "You didn't say a word about being wrongly accused when you were burying my parents and daughter. Since the situation has unfolded this way, I'll have to repay you for everything you've done." The mercenaries nodded when I pointed at Barry's men. They then dragged the battered men out of the house, ignoring the banshee-like wails as they forced Barry's lackeys into their cars. I go
