He pinched her cheek lightly and said casually, "Be good. Didn't you have your eye on a handbag last time? I'll transfer the money to you. You can go and buy it for yourself." Her eyes lit up. "You can't lie to me." "When have I ever lied to you?" He suddenly found her voice grating as he listened to her. He immediately pulled out his phone and transferred the money to buy himself some peace. He even made sure to include her requested note, which read, "Voluntary gift." Avery was overjoyed. She hugged him tighter and kissed his cheek
