Aidan pressed his lips together, glanced at the agreement, and said through gritted teeth, "Cassandra, I hope you don't end up regretting this."
Cassandra gave a faint smile. "Don't worry. I absolutely won't."
Aidan angrily signed the document.
Clara, who was watching from the side, let out a breath of relief. She didn't want them to be tangled up anymore. Mrs. Ziegler's spot could only belong to her.
"I expect the payment to be made within three days and for this matter to be settled," Cassandra said coldly.
"Don't push your luck, Cassandra. One day, you'll regret this. Do you really think you're all that just because you left me?" Aidan snapped.
Cassandra found it ridiculous. Aidan's arrogance really knew no bounds.
"Great. Let's just wait and see then." With that, Cassandra started packing her things. Her handover was complete. There was no reason to stay any longer.
