"We can't go back to how things were anymore, Luke." That was the only response Rosalie could and wanted to give him. Luke lapsed into another long silence. Rosalie could tell that Luke was on the verge of having a breakdown as she picked up on the sound of his ragged breathing. She did not want to tick him off, sending him into a rage and risking ruining their family. So, she made a heartfelt plea in the end, saying, "Please don't blame my mom anymore.
