"I've been waiting for this day to come since forever. Let's stick to the date your mother chose before she passed. There won't be any changes." The date my mother picked was next month. It was supposed to be the day I married Landon. Now that the ginger tea had warmed me up, tears stung my eyes. I had assumed that we wouldn't have anything prepared with such short notice and figured we might have to fall back on old plans.
