“Ewan!” shrieked Alice. She did not expect Ewan to just pounce on Tamara like some wild beast. “Get out, Alice!” Ewan barked at Alice. He had a wild look on his face. Alice stood frozen in her place. She threw a quick glance at Tamara. She knew what her brother was doing was wrong. But Ewan was hell-bent on having Tamara. He wanted to own her, to devour her—to fuck her. Alice turned to leave. Once the door slammed shut, Ewan turned his attention back to Tamara. He certainly wasn’t expecting what came next. A kick landed on Ewan’s stomach. Then, a slap across his face. Ewan howled in pain. He was sent to the floor after another kick. Tamara’s beautiful face was stone cold as she stared down at him. “Do you have a death wish?” hissed Tamara. Ewan’s eyes widened in disbelief at Tamara. Who knew such a fragile-looking girl could kick some ass! “You’re the first woman to ever hit me! You really are one of a kind!” Ewan jumped up from the floor. He was prepared this time. Surely, he would get Tamara. Tamara took a step back. “You’re the owner of this island? Have you done a background check on me and my husband?” Ewan laughed maniacally. “I don’t need to know who you are! You’re on MY island! Very soon, your husband will be married to my sister, and you will be mine!” With that, he pounced on Tamara again. Tamara was agile. Ewan furrowed his brows at her. “Is being my wife such a bad thing?” Tamara glared at him through teary eyes. “I have a husband! Why would I want to be your wife?” “I will make you fall for me,” smirked Ewan before letting her go. Tamara was a little surprised. However, she still hurriedly crawled away at the taste of freedom. Ewan observed her closely and declared, “I swear I will make you fall for me. Until then, I won’t force myself upon you. I’ll wait until the day you promise to marry me of your own free will.” Arrogance laced his every word.
