Even when Sebastian’s hands were bound, it did nothing to hide his domineering aura. He looked down at Alice and narrowed his eyes dangerously at her. “You really think you’re untouchable here, don’t you?” Alice stumbled back from his glare and felt shivers running down her spine. She got up from the ground and put on a brave act. “I am willing to meet your request, Mr. Custry. However, on one condition—you must give me your solemn promise to marry me!” She continued, “You must be my husband if you wish to order me around!” Sebastian snorted coldly, “So, you want to be my mistress.” Alice’s face fell. “I am not your mistress!” “You want to marry me despite me being a married man. What else could you possibly be?” huffed Sebastian bluntly. Alice gritted her teeth. “You’re pushing your luck, Mr. Custry. Since you wish to be so stubborn and ungrateful, I have made up my mind—I won’t agree to your demand!” With that, she spun around and stomped off. “Wait…” came the husky voice. Alice smirked and turned to Sebastian. “So, Mr. Custry, have you finally reached a decision?” Sebastian stalked closer to her. Just when Alice thought he was going to do something nice for her, Sebastian choked her again. “How dumb must you be to fall for the same trick twice?” Sebastian did not bother to hide the disgust he felt for her. Alice could not even hold a candle to Tamara! The idea that she wanted his hand in marriage was nothing short of ludicrous jest! Alice widened her eyes at him. “What are you doing?” “Where is she?” growled Sebastian coldly. Alice thrashed wildly against him. “I won’t tell you! Go on! Kill me!” “Very well.” Sebastian’s lips curled into a smirk. He tightened his grip. The familiar sense of impending death washed over her once more, and Alice’s eyes widened in terror. “You…” choked Alice. Her throat was in pain, and she was finding it harder to breathe by the second. "She’s…downstairs…in the room…directly under…yours…" Fear set in. Alice struggled to tell Sebastian where Tamara was. With the grip on her neck suddenly released, Alice immediately stumbled backward, putting a significant distance between herself and Sebastian. Sebastian calmly took a seat on the couch. “Make sure she stays there, or I might actually end your life next time.” Alice held onto her neck unconsciously. She knew Sebastian was being serious about his threat. She would have been dead by now if she hesitated even for a moment! A newfound anger overcame Alice. “I told you! She’s already with my brother. Are you seriously picking a traitorous bitch over me?” Sebastian ignored Alice. The woman spun around and stomped back to her room angrily. She took out some medication and applied it to her neck. Judging from his look, Sebastian must not have believed her. She muttered to herself, “Damn it!” She had to show Sebastian how much of a slut Tamara truly was. He would surely believe her then! Should that situation come to pass, Sebastian would divorce Tamara, and she could finally marry him! Alice shared her plan with Ewan as he diligently attended to his paperwork. Upon hearing it, he hummed in contemplation and then exclaimed, “Brilliant! My dearest sister, that’s an excellent plan. Let’s waste no time and put it into action immediately!”
