There was only one Holt family in Jorvania.
"So that's why you really want a divorce," Ivy said.
She'd always assumed Elise was leaving the marriage because she couldn't melt Samuel's heart of stone.
Elise's gaze lowered, but she remained calm. "Let's go."
Ivy had planned to celebrate Elise's birthday that evening. She hadn't expected to run into Samuel, Lucas, and Zara.
"If you'd told me earlier, we could have just waited for the next elevator."
They got into Henry's car, taking up the backseat. Elise let out a faint smile. "Don't think too much about it, Ivy. I'm already divorcing him. Whatever they do now doesn't matter to me."
She could let go of her husband. If things with Samuel didn't work out, there were plenty of other fish in the sea.
She glanced at the driver's seat. There was one sitting right in front of her.
