"When did I ever say that?" Maryanne glared at him. "Let me know ahead of time which day you're house-hunting so I can take time off."
"Oh, sure." Hayden was about to close the door, then paused as if remembering something. "The day after tomorrow's the weekend. You'll have the day off, but I might not be able to take leave. If that's the case, you can go take a look first. And if you see one you like, you can just buy it."
He didn't have any specific requirements for the house. Since Maryanne wanted to choose based on her preferences, he would go along with her completely.
