The person calling Chase was Ben's sister, Fiona Woodward. She was three years younger than Ben. Though the Woodward family was middle-class, they all doted on her like a precious gem as she grew up. She was a young woman who radiated warmth and energy like a little sun. "Chaz?" Chase nodded. "Sure, I'd like that." Fiona immediately let out a delighted shout. "Watch me work my magic today! I'm going to impress you, Chaz." She was true to her word, managing to dig up plenty of crabs along with periwinkles, moon snails, and other treasures. She was thrilled. Chase had always been the type of student who picked things up quickly when taught. It was the same now. After Fiona explained the tracks and breathing holes left by crabs and various shellfish, she demonstrated the proper technique. Chase soon dug up a massive periwinkle.
