Why was she trembling? Wasn't she frozen? Something was shaking, was it her heart? But hasn't her heart stopped? She couldn't breathe.

His voice seemed to be playing like a broken record but she couldn't concentrate on it. His eyes, his eyes were embracing her, the pitch darkness in them was blinding. How can darkness be blinding? Isn't it blind itself? Then why was it that she couldn't see anything in that darkness except her own self.
