Chapter 124
Christopher Brown was still piecing together the string of complicated relationships when the man crumpled the business card and tossed it casually into an empty takeout box on the table.
Behind him, the bodyguard quietly shut the door.
Panic instantly set in. Christopher instinctively backed away. "Who the hell told you guys you could come in?! This is trespassing! You know that's illegal, right?!"
One of the bodyguards dragged a chair into the middle of the room. William took his time sitting down, legs crossed, totally unfazed. "Didn’t you just invite me in?"
"Bullshit! When did I—"
William glanced up lazily, his sharp gaze sweeping across Christopher’s face, eyes cold and detached. "I said you did. That’s enough."
Christopher spun, ready to bolt to the balcony, but the bodyguard was way too fast. He was yanked down by the shoulder and pinned to the floor in seconds.
A woman screamed inside the bedroom. William didn’t even flinch. "Shut the door."
Another bodyguard obediently closed
