Halfway through her rant, the guy just bailed, leaving Olivia fuming.
What pissed her off even more? That assistant—looked like a walking mannequin—actually handed her a recorder, all serious, asking her to finish yelling into it so he could play it for Mr. Harding.
Seriously? As if talking to a mic could compare to cursing William to his face. That smug face of his deserved a few slaps, not a recording.
"Just wait! Next time, we’ll see who runs faster!"
She left full of fire and came back twice as mad.
Turns out, just now in the car, she told Sophia about Elsie's past battle with severe depression. Poor Sophia was thumping her own thigh, blaming herself for being a coward who didn’t yell at William earlier.
"Why didn’t you tell me before, huh? I was still feeling bad about what I said back at the bar, but now? Nope, I was totally right! That guy's not good enough for Elsie!"
