She instinctively shut her mouth, only to realize that she'd actually listened to what Leslie said.
The moment that thought hit her, Lydia's face turned even darker.
Just as she was about to speak again, Leslie suddenly waved her hand, and Lydia felt something slip into her mouth. She reflexively swallowed. A slight bitterness lingered on her tongue.
She didn't take it seriously-probably just her imagination?
"Leslie, are you trying to act all high and mighty in our house? You got the wrong place."
She looked at Vivian. "Mom, seriously? You're just gonna let her run wild in our home like this?"
