Charles' heartless attitude only made Lilith and her wedding dress seem even more ridiculous.
"Charles…" Lilith started, her lips trembling as she tried to explain, saying, "The fire broke out so suddenly, so it was only natural that I got scared. You can't give me a death sentence just because of that!"
She then turned her aim at me. "And she purposely ran into the fire, hoping it would move you and destroy our relationship!
