Tessa immediately understood what was going on when she saw Stephen. A mocking smirk appeared on her lips as she drawled, "I was wondering just why you've decided to apologize all of a sudden. It's because Stephen decided to show up." Jacqueline cried prettily, tears rolling down her cheeks like broken pearls. "I'm sorry, Tessa. I'm sorry for bumping into you. I'll pay you back for the dress. Please don't be mad at me." She deliberately put herself down, looking pitiful and pathetic. Tessa had seen through her act, though. She knew that Jacqueline was putting on this farce of a show for Stephen and Rowena. "I should've seen your acting skills coming, you snake. After all, I'd be viewed as an unreasonable bitch if I don't forgive you now." Rowena pointed at Tessa furiously before turning to Stephen. "Look at her, Stephen! Look at her and tell me that you're going to let her bully Jacqueline right in front of us!" Stephen frowned before gently pushing Rowena's hand away from Tessa.
