     Lena hurried into the office and saw the frosty gaze of her boss, glaring at her furiously. What had she done to make him feel so furious with her?           “How did this trash get in here?” He demanded, his index finger pointing to the beautiful flowers that had found itself in the trash can.        “Miss Jessica brought it for you and since you're both acquaintances, I let her drop it on your desk…” Lena was explaining when Patrick yelled at her.        “Do I look like I am an acquaintance of Jessica? How dare you allow that woman into my office?” His tone was filled with contempt for the one who brought the flowers.      Lena couldn't find her voice to answer Patrick Connor.
