"I-Is that it?" Perseus stammered, utterly baffled. He didn't even see how that group got past the arcane barrier.
"Didn't you get a good look?" Lavender asked.
"I…" Perseus trailed off, his gaze unconsciously drifting toward Lavender's chest. He couldn't help but muse that he had indeed gotten a good look. Her assets were not only huge, but they were even more blinding than the sudden flash of white light earlier. He wasn't blind, so there was no way he could have missed them.
"It should be similar to the arcane barrier back at Ouranos; it would be impenetrable to anyone but their own," Lavender said with a shrug, remaining completely oblivious to Perseus' wayward glance.
"I think we should just head back for now. I don't think there's any point worrying about it now since Claire already had a way to get past that arcane barrier," Perseus explained while lighting up another cigarette, realizing that his current vexation was pointless.
Lavender hummed in assent, offering no object
