Nelson's car was parked about a mile away from the Cadwell residence. He turned his head to look over at the passenger seat. "You sure you don't want me to drive you in?" he asked. "No need," Heidi said, unbuckling her seatbelt. "They're very particular here. If they saw your hot-pink car pull up, Grandpa would probably have the driveway repaved by tomorrow." Nelson snorted and unlocked the doors. "Alright then. Good luck in there." Heidi stepped out with her arms laden with shopping bags as she made her way slowly up the hillside. When the household staff saw her returning, laden with bags, they hurried over to help. Dazzled by the array of luxury logos, they wordlessly took the bags from her and carried everything up to the second floor. Upon seeing Heidi return, Debra waved at her with a warm smile. "You bought so much! Feeling better?" "Much better. Retail therapy really works," Heidi honestly answered. Debra found nothing wrong with that. Like Heidi, she wasn't fond
