Chapter 34
Diana took the bank card Logan handed her, gripping it tightly. The disdain in her voice was impossible to hide. "Once the child in Sloane's belly is born, you'll have to spend money on so many things. Why waste so much on Vivian?
"She's just an orphan dragging along an old woman. She's already lucky enough to be able to get married to you."
Logan's expression darkened as he looked at Diana in silence.
Diana pursed her lips, then awkwardly stuffed the bank card into her pocket. She said unhappily, "Fine, fine. I'll listen to you. I'll contact her this afternoon and take her out shopping."
After signing the contract at the Edgewell Group, Vivian had lunch with Connor.
Connor had other arrangements in the afternoon, so Vivian returned to her home.
She was just about to message Theo about the contract for her shares in the Whitfield Group when she received the call from Diana.
Ever since Logan had Diana sent back to the countryside, Diana had placed the blame squarely on Vivian.
