Chapter 11
Prying apart the bushes, I couldn't find the cat. There was just a phone on the ground that had a recording of a cat's meow on loop.
Something felt off, so I turned to run.
Just then, I felt a sharp pain hit me on the back of my head. My vision darkened as I passed out on the spot.
When I opened my eyes, I found myself in an abandoned warehouse. My arms and legs were bound to a chair, leaving me unable to move.
In my confusion, I heard a cold voice coming from above me.
"You're finally awake, Susie."
Who else could that be if not Harold and Sierra?
"Of course it's you!" I seethed. "I'm warning you. Let me go right now, and you'll get off with a light sentence. If not, you'll rot in jail for the rest of your lives—"
