Raina had collapsed on the ground, screaming and clutching herself in a panic.
I saw it clearly—blood was slowly spreading between her legs.
I went cold and grabbed my phone to call an ambulance.
People around us moved aside right away.
This was about saving a life. No matter how much I hated her, I wasn't going to stand by and watch her die, especially with so many people watching.
When they loaded her into the ambulance, I told Joseph to go collect his trophy first. He didn't want to leave me, but after I pushed back over and over, he finally gave in and didn't get on the ambulance with me.
