Ameerah's POV

"Q-Queen Ameerah—"

She looks so very nervous and afraid. He can't even look me in the eyes. She was fidgeting her fingers when I asked her again.

"It was a very simple question Amber. Why do you seem so scared to just tell me the reason?" I'm confused question

"I-It wasn't ... It's ... It's serious," he averted his eyes

I was going to ask him if someone spoke from behind us. My eyes immediately locked at Ephraim's eyes.

"It's because they were cursed. We are cursed by their stupidity my Queen. You wanna know the whole story? I will gladly tell you but I am afraid. What will you see us afterwards," he smirked dangerously

My eyes narrowed as I stared at him. "What are you doing here? You're in our territory!" I said irritably as I looked around

"I want yes or no My Queen," he chuckled

"It's a no! And stop calling me your Queen. I am not yours. If I want to know everything. I want to hear that from Valdus not you," I said.

This man was trying to deceive me. Why would I trust the person who loves to raise Valdus? It's obvious in his eyes. He wants to be in the top and I won"t let him use me to get there.

"I'm afraid he will let you know. You still don't know much Ameerah. Don't wait for those things hidden behind you, burn you in the end,"

It was as if a moon had disappeared and gone with the wind. We caught a glimpse of Valdus on horseback and approaching us. He hop off in his horse before coming closer to us.

"Where is he?" He obviously suppressed his anger as he asked

"He disappeared," was my short reply

He released a harsh breath before grabbing my arm. I was shocked when he hugged me tightly.

"I'm glad you don't come with him. He'll only poison your mind with manipulation. Don't ever trust him. Do you understood Ameerah?" He asked a serious question

I just nodded and hugged him. "I understood,"

Valdus's POV

I kissed her forehead before getting off the bed. I'll make sure that man doesn't get close to Ameerah anymore. He will ruin everything for the second time but I won't let him. We'll find out before he takes my queen!

"Rest Ameerah. I'll comeback,"

I disappeared in her view and appeared outside Ephraim's kingdom. His men immediately blocked my way. I stood straight with my face stoic. I held the sword while talking to their general.

"Tell him to show his face or I'll f-ck him up. He did a really great mess in f-cking up my life again!" I screamed in fury

"Valdus,"

I gritted my teeth in anger but I control myself. My ranks is higher than this stupid imbecile!

"I let you stole Alderie. Why the f-ck are you still pestering me and my Queen!"

He smirked. "Then impregnate her afterwards? So the cursed in you and your kingdom will break? No way! I won't let you escape this shit you'd putten us into!"

I grab his collar and stare in his eyes. Dead in expression. His men tried to budge but my men was fast.

"I'll take it as the start of war,"

Ameerah's POV

"Isn't Valdus still coming back?" I asked Amber

I sat on the bed after he dried and combed my hair. Before Valdus left, I saw the anger in his eyes so I no longer wonder if he looked for Ephraim when I fell asleep. I'm just worried. Maybe what a mess will happen to the two of them.

"Not yet majesty. Maybe, he was busy," he replied

I nodded and then fell silent for a moment. What Ephraim had said earlier came to my mind. I know his answer will only deceive. I am not ignorant so as not to think that his explanation is fraudulent in case I let him explain. So I didn't let him speak.

There's a lot of questions in my head and I know Amber can answer that. Actually, it was just a simple questions with simple answers. It's easy to answer but it will only be difficult for him if he is hiding some part of the truth.

Is he hiding something from me so he can't tell the truth?

I looked at Amber. If I'm really sure. He would not hesitate to answer my question. Not unless he is hiding something or all of them.

"Amber," I call to her

She was fidgeting and her face were extremely nervous. It was as if he didn't know what to do. I wanted to know the truth even more because I could see the fear and doubt on his face.

It was as if she was sitting on the bed weakly while I was just gaping at her. I was beyond shocked. T-Them? Humans? They were human then but because of the curse they came here? That became-

"Amber," I called to her again

Her eyes sparks in excitement and delight. If she tell me how can break it. I will do everything to break the curse and see how beautiful this place is. I wanna see the Alvanticus beauty before it died.

I smiled before telling her the last part of my intentions. I noticed her pause.

"Then tell me how to break it,"

Ameerah's POV

There was doubt in his eyes again because of my question. I sighed then took his hand.

"I can't help you break the curse if I don't know how to remove it. Why do you seem hesitant to tell me the truth?" I wonder question

He bowed then replied. "Because you won't like it. Probably," he answered weakly

I sighed again before sitting in the bed. "Does this curse have anything to do with me? Is that why you're hesitant? Because you might say something that will offend or hurt me?" I asked a series of questions

I know those are the only reasons why he is so afraid to tell me the truth. If the reason is not there. I no longer knew him. She bit her lip before nodding.

"Just tell me. Whatever it is," I said seriously

"I command you Amber. I want to know the truth. I commanding you to tell me the truth. Whatever the hell it is!" I said in a hard voice

He was about to speak when the door suddenly opened. I froze in my spot when I saw Valdus looking like he was about to kill someone. I was swallowed.

"Your highness," Amber bowed

"What are you doing two still doing here? Did you already eat?" Valdus asked angrily

I couldn't answer right away because I was feeling him first. Did he hear what Amber and I were talking about? I swallowed again when he approached me.

I shook then took his hand. He looks stunned by my actions but I didn't budge.

"I'm waiting for you hehe," I answered hesitantly

I widened my eyes at Amber. He understood me and quickly disappeared. We eat in total silence when we get there. I couldn"t help but glance at Valdus. He looks annoyed in something. Could that have something to do with Ephraim?

We remained silent. I can't speak because he seems very serious.

"Ameerah,"

I stopped eating then he turned around. He has this serious aura in his face.

"Why?" I will ask

Did he really hear what Amber and I were talking about earlier? Is he going to ask me now?

"There's a party taking in here. Prepare for the night with the help of Amber. Everything that you needed was on our room. I'll see you later," he explained before standing up.

I was left gaping there. He's telling me to get ready and he'll see me later? Where is he going? He just came back ah ?!

"Where are you going? You just came back?" I will ask

He stopped walking and paused for a moment before facing me. I can't explain the emotions in his red eyes. For something was holding him back. She looks confused.

"Somewhere," was his short reply

I stared behind him as I walked away. Something was bothering him that he can't even look directly in my eyes. What's wrong with that one?

I swam from the other side then climbed up. It's going to be night again and I know that the party that Valdus says will start in a few hours. I'm not really fond of attending royal parties. I'd rather stay in my balcony playing instruments or reading books than mingle with other rulers of the kingdom who have nothing else to do but squeeze their child into me. I put on the robe that was there and then entered the room.

"Valdus! Why is that just suddenly popping up!" I stared at him

He raised his brow so I stumbled. Such a gay! "So I don't have the right to sit in my bed now?"

I glared at him. I'm just taking a bath but my body is getting hot. The head is heating up! Can I just choke him to death?

"Can you atleast ... turn around? I'll get dressed," I tried to calm my voice

But looks like he don't have any plan to budge, "Why would I? Adjust yourself not me,"

I gritted my teeth in annoyance. I'm about to explode! What is this man's problem? He's being arrogant again!

"If you're not a gentleman. Can you atleast fake yourself? Even just now?" My tongue trembles

Instead of looking or turning away. He was lying there in front of me and was still staring at my appearance. I gritted my teeth and clenched my fist in annoyance.

"What the hell are you doing !? Are you annoying me ?!" I kept shouting

One more Valdus! One more! I'll strangle you to death !!

"No. Just enjoying the view,"

That's it.

I took the pillow by his side and slapped him. All my annoyance and giggles I poured in there but to my annoyance he didn't budge even an inch.

"Is that all?" He seemed to be teasing the question

Urgh !!! Can I choke him now ?! How can I behave properly if he is here? No way I would change in front of him. I threw the pillow I had passed on the floor before I picked up what I was going to wear on the vanity table. This man was getting into my nerves and I don't want to end up being unrespectful in front of the visitors because of this man!

I was about to go into the bathroom when he spoke again. "Giving up already?"

I looked over him before rolling my eyes. "No. I just don't entertaining assh-le like you!"

He smirked as if he was challenged by my attitude. He returned to his seat and bit his lip. That instantly heated my insides. Gosh! Ameerah! Calm yourself. You should be annoyed.

"Okay. This assh-le can still see you inside that comfort room. Just saying," He said nochanlant

"What do you want ?! It used to be quiet and now you're annoying! Are you bipolar ?!" I scream in disgust

I don't really understand this guy. Earlier I was wondering why he was so quietly done now. He will act like a crazy annoying assh-le!

He shrugged his shoulder, "I don't know. I liked you seeing this annoyed. It's funny,"

Funny? If he is happy. Not me! I throw the gown on the floor with her forehead furrowed. I smirked inwardly. Time to give you blue balls my majesty.

"What are you — holy hell," He muttered

I seductively untied my robe then slowly take it off from body. He stared and his eyes widened. Looks like the King fell into the trap.

"Funny? I am not funny your highness," I said seductively

I walk like a cat in front of him. I climbed on the bed and crawled over to him. I'm dying inside! I'm already laughing at the way he looks. He looks like a hormonal teenager. He forgot when I sat on his lap.

Trying hard to ignore his growing friend down there, I pressed my forehead to his forehead with my eyes looking at him, unblinking. He gasp and his breath become rugged when I touched his sides feeling his hard body. Your majesty had a well-built body. Hmm.

"You think I'm funny?" I whispered seductively

His adam's apple move sign that he was gulping enumerably times. I smiled. Blue balls here I come. I went down to his neck and then you kissed him softly. I heard him groaned in anticipation. As my lips went down.

I bit him hard in his collarbone

She shouted at what I did while I quickly left her and put on the gown. I heard him cursing repeatedly and probably throwing daggers at me now. When I fix the gown. I turned to her and smiled sweetly. He stood up and intended to push me when I called Amber outside.

"Amber! Please come in! I'm done getting dressed," I shouted

She was relieved when Amber entered with two other waiters. One point my majesty. I would laugh when he looked down on me.

"Laugh for now my brat Queen. I'll punish you hard later,"

I faced the mirror while examining the red gown I was wearing. It was off-shoulder revealing some of my flesh like my collarbone. Rubies were elegantly embedded in the lower body giving a royal look. I can also see the curve of my body because of the belt attached to my waistline. But overall, it was beautiful.

I let Amber and the other maids who help her to put some jewelries. An earrings, bracelet, and clips in my hair that were all made of rubies. Looks like they hate red, eh? And the last and the crown. The wind blew me away.
