Katrina’s POV Harris and I looked at each other meaningfully. We slowed our pace and quietened our movements until we were close enough to her. Before she could react to our presence, Harris had manoeuvred and collected the knife from her. “Claire!”, I shouted at her now that she was no longer holding a knife. “What do you think you are doing? You can’t do this to Kevin, he loves you and he needs you too…!”. “No!!”, Claire covered her face with her hand and cried with a loud voice. “Too many people know that I have been raped, there’s no way I can have a face in this pack again, how can I even live with Kevin after this?”, Claire wailed like a pregnant woman who lost her child. I pulled her into my embrace and comforted her. “Claire you are a victim, it’s the evil person that doesn’t deserve to live, it’s not your fault so you deserve mercy and forgiveness”
