Renata tossed the duvet covering just her legs aside as she stretched her hand to the other side of the bed in search of Santiago, but he wasn’t there. “Urghhh…” she groaned as she squeezed her eyes shut. Tilting her head to look at the space where Santiago was meant to be, she rolled her eyes when she found out he hadn’t come home last night. The bed space was neat and not wrinkled like he had gotten up from it that morning.
