Meanwhile, Thaddeus, the man whom Rowena couldn't stop thinking about, was now standing outside my house.
After I left the Crowley residence, I went to see my biological parents. My original intention had been just to bid farewell.
Thaddeus had once told me that my biological parents didn't like me. They believed that a daughter they'd never spent time with couldn't compare with the one they'd nurtured since childhood.
And when Rowena disappeared, they had even come to resent me for it.
