Chapter 104 Something Was Wrong
Cameron walked out through Blucean Tech's front entrance.
Mark was already waiting by the car and hurried over as soon as he saw Cameron.
Cameron's face was so dark that it was almost frightening, a cold hostility rolling off him that warned everyone to stay away.
He didn't get into the car right away but stood there for a moment instead, staring out into the heavy night.
"Those two are never walking out of a cell again," he said.
A tremor ran through Mark's chest. He lowered his head and said, "Yes, Mr. Baker. I understand."
He hesitated, then forced himself to continue, "Mr. Baker, Ms. Stone is worried about you. She wants to see you."
Cameron's hand clenched at his side until the knuckles went pale.
He acted as if he hadn't heard a word, ducked into the car, and slammed the door shut.
Mark watched the taillights disappear into the distance and let out a quiet sigh.
