Chapter 119 A Problem With the Machines
Audrey didn't let any of it get to her. She headed straight for Blucean Tech's smart robot factory. It was massive, and the machines were so loud they practically rattled her teeth.
Wearing a white hard hat and a crisp uniform, she wove through the automated production lines. A batch of humanoid robots, fresh off the basic assembly line, already stood in rows inside the testing zone.
She stepped up to the main control console and tapped through the controls with quick, practiced motions. "Start the preliminary mobility test."
The moment the command was executed, one of the robots received the signal and slowly lifted its arm. But the movement froze halfway up, a visible hitch shuddering through the mechanism.
Its attempt to rotate its wrist was just as bad, so stiff it seemed like it might snap. It was nowhere near the smooth motion it was built for.
Audrey's brows knit together.
