I shouldn't have. Whatever your reasons were for taking Henrique, I'm sure you had the best at heart and I appreciate that you did. You're right, he's not your child and the fact that you're going out of your way to provide for him should be enough." He nods his head. "Be careful around here, sometimes wild snakes linger in the bushes." Chills run through me. "Are they venomous?" He shakes his head, "Not all of them but just be careful.
