Brightwave Media wasn’t a large company—not yet, at least. It wasn’t even the core business of the Caldwell Group of Companies. CGC’s real foundation was in IT and technology, and Brightwave was more like a side venture. Still, it mattered—because Brightwave was the company Matthew built from scratch.
If it hadn’t been for Matthew, I never would’ve chosen to work here. Matthew was the heir of CGC, so most of his time and energy went into his family’s main business. He brought me into Brightwave because he needed someone capable of running it alongside him—and more importantly, someone he could trust.
Matthew was the type of person who never meddled in his employees’ personal lives. Work was work, and he made it clear that personal backgrounds and private matters shouldn’t influence his judgment. I shared the same philosophy.
